The Ministry of Education, Human Resource Planning, Vocational Training and National Excellence today announced the release of the 2025 Grade Six National Assessment results. A total of 742 students, comprising 369 females and 373 males, participated in this year's examinations.
In recognition of student achievements, the Government of Dominica has decided to award 86 scholarships and 108 bursaries based on this year's results. Scholarship recipients will receive $1000.00 for textbooks and stationery, while bursary recipients will receive $700. Additionally, the government will cover CXC examination fees for all scholarship students.

Students selected for secondary schools within the Roseau, ITSS, and Portsmouth catchment areas will receive forms to indicate their ranked school preferences. An online option for this process will also be available. Once these forms are returned, the Ministry will collaborate with secondary school principals in these areas to ensure all students are successfully placed.
The Ministry of Education extended its gratitude to all individuals involved in the Grade Six National Assessment, including subject committee members, teachers who contributed examination items, centre coordinators and supervisors, the Police, and all technical and support staff within the Ministry who monitored the examination administration.
