VACANCY NOTICE: Project Co-ordinator/National Land Use Policy and National Physical Development Plan

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to hold the position of Project Co-ordinator/National Land Use Policy and National Physical Development Plan, Ministry of Environment, National Resource, Physical Planning and Fisheries, Government of Dominica.

Duties include:

• Planning, Scheduling and Implementation and Co-ordination of the Development of the National Land Use Policy and National Physical Development Plan
• Financial Management and Procurement
• Preparation of Progress Reports
• Undertake Monitoring and Evaluation of the Project
• Provision of support to the Project Steering Committee
• Coordination of  logistics for consultations with stakeholders for public participation and  awareness

Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required:

• Post Graduate Degree in Management or related fields
• At least five years work experience in managing development projects
• Good leadership, oral and written communication
• Excellent Interpersonal skills
• Advanced proficiency in the use of computers and other ICT’s with project management, presentation and analytical software.
• At least three (3) years experience in Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), or other similar agency, procedures and procurement rules
