VACANCY: Multi-purpose Packhouse Office Attendant

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

   The Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica has secured financing from the CARICOM Development Fund (CDF) to fund the first two (2) years of the operationalization of the Multi-Purpose Packhouses in Roseau and Portsmouth.

   The Dominica Export Import Agency (DEXIA) is the Executing Agency for the Project and hereby seeks suitably qualified persons to fill the following position:

 OFFICE ATTENDANT (Roseau & Portsmouth)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

1. To provide support to the Administrative Assistant to ensure the smooth running of the day to day operations of the office
2. Responsible for the daily cleaning (sweep, mop, dust) of the building), cleaning of all washrooms, ensuring that adequate office supplies are always available for use.
3. Distribution and collection of letters and other documentation, including distribution of cheque payments to creditors or other parties.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

Candidates should possess the following:

1. At least three (3) CXC subjects including Mathematics and English
2. Must have a clean Police Record
3. Experience in a similar type position would be an asset.
