The Project Implementation Unit (PIU), of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries invites Livestock farmers of the South, Central and West Agricultural Regions and the Kalinago Territory affected by Hurricane Maria to a sensitization meeting of the “Emergency Agricultural Livelihoods and Climate Resilience Project “
The meetings will be held on Friday November 15, 2019, from 9:00 am to 11 noon, at the Dominica Public Service Union- DPSU for livestock farmers in the following areas.
South: Scotts Head, Soufriere, Pointe Michel, Grand Bay Tete
Morne, Pichlen, Bellevue Chopin, Petite Savanne,
Stowe, Bagatelle, Roseau Valley, Giraduel and
Eggleston
Central: Cochrane, Belles, Mero, St. Joseph, Carholm, Warner,
Mahaut, Sultan, Sylvania, Despos and Roger
West: Salisbury, Macoucherie, Morne Rachette, Coulibistrie,
Colihaut, Dublanc, Syndicate.
For Livestock farmers of the Kalinago Territory to include Salybia, Sinkeou, Bataca, Cray Fish River Mahaut River, Guilette River, St.Cyr, Ant Whistle, Tourne Village , Atkinson the meeting will be held on the same day (Friday November 15, 2019) at the Saliybia Primary School from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss with livestock farmers the Call for the Expression of Interest and the conditions for applying to the programme
All are asked to make a special effort to attend this important meeting.
Transportation will be made available.
