The Hon Member of Parliament for the Castle Bruce constituency, Johnson Drigo, has committed $325,000 for housing renovations in Petite Soufriere.

Honourable Drigo made the promise at a townhall meeting in that community on April 26.

Under the secondary road rehabilitation project $11million has been allocated for village roads in Dominica; the Castle Bruce constituency received $625,000 of that sum. Three of these projects will be done in Petite Soufriere.

Hon Drigo revealed that under the Community Road Enhancement Programme over $100,000 has been allocated for a road to Savanne in Petit Soufriere.

Two contracts have been signed to execute this project. The Castle Bruce MP stated that the construction of this road will pave the way for further development in the area. He also promised to bring motorable roads to upper Lawivye-Lewis in Petite Soufriere.
