World Creole Music Festival Consultant, Val Cuffy, has announced that patrons of the 19th edition of the festival will get an opportunity to win tickets during the first Dominica Festivals Committee (DFC) treasure hunt.
This is among several new initiatives which the DFC has launched to make this year’s festival bigger and better.
He was speaking on Wednesday, September 21st at the third press conference leading up to the festival.
During the week of October 26-30, competitors should listen to their radios and be tuned to the DFC’s Facebook page for clues hinting at outlets in Roseau will be offering special prices on season tickets
There will also be a special taxi booth following the festival for patrons. The consultant urged these taxi drivers and others hired by visitors to be on their best behavior.
“We’re hoping that the front of Jay’s Bookstore will be assigned an area to hire taxis. We’ll be working with the Combined Taxi Association.”
The DFC reminds vendors to only sell sponsored products as per the contract. Violation will result in the closure of the bar or stall.
