The public is asked to take note that in preparation for the start of construction of Phase One of the New National Hospital the Blood Donor Center and Phlebotomy (Blood Drawing) Room of the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) Laboratory will be closed from Tuesday, November 15 to Friday November 18, 2016.
The temporary closure is to facilitate relocation of the Blood Donor Center and the Phlebotomy (Blood Drawing) Room to another area on the PMH site.
Services will resume on Monday November 21, 2016 at the new temporary location; next to the Central Medical Stores building.
Access to the new temporary location is through the gated entrance of the New Psychiatric Unit (APU) building.
Meanwhile the public is asked to note that vehicular drop off through the same entrance will only be allowed in order to facilitate non-ambulatory patients.
The hours of operation remain the same; 8:00am to 11:00am Mondays to Fridays.
The Government of Dominica through the Ministry of Health and Environment kindly asks you for your patience and thanks you for your cooperation during the construction process of the New National Hospital.
